NPA TO HOST GHANA INTERNATIONAL PETROLEUM CONFERENCE 2024

As the countdown begins for the highly anticipated Ghana International PetroleumConference (GHIPCON) 2024, stakeholders and industry leaders are gearing up for an event set to redefine the trajectory of Africa’s petroleum downstream sector.

Organized by the National Petroleum Authority (NPA), this year’s event which is on the theme, “The PetroleumDownstream: Building a Future for Efficiency, Growth and Sustainability”will entail a two-day conference and exhibition on 10^th – 11^th July at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) followed by a prestigious Industry Awards Night.

According to the Chief Executive of NPA, Dr. Mustapha Abdul-Hamid, GHIPCON 2024represents a significant milestone in the country’s collective journey towards a more prosperous and sustainable energy future. “The NPA wants to use this conference as an avenue to reaffirm our commitment to driving growth, fostering dialogue, and unlocking the full potential of our energy sector for the benefit of all across the continent.”

Delivering the opening address on the first day of the conference is H.E. Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Vice President of the Republic of Ghana. Also in attendance is theMinister of Energy, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, CEOs within the industry, as well as speakers and attendees across the African continent.
